As an administrator, you can manage your account's users, computers, groups, and permissions.
Admin privileges
Administrators keep their account organized for the other users and administrators on the account. Here are some of the functions that an administrator can perform:
- Add or remove users on the account
- View the total storage used, backup status for all computers, and alert notifications through the dashboard
- Install and reinstall Carbonite on their computer
- Add, remove, and assign computers on the account
- Promote and demote users and administrators
- Change the Billing Owner to another administrator
- Select NAS devices for backup (Windows computers only)
- Create and manage backup policies (Windows computers only)
- Remotely deploy Carbonite on their network (Windows computers only)
- Enter and edit billing information (Billing Owner only)
