Carbonite Support > Backup Overdue for Carbonite S...

Our product offerings have been renamed. Carbonite Home Backup is now Carbonite Safe Backup, and Carbonite Office Backup is now Carbonite Safe Backup Pro.

To continue backing up and restoring files on macOS 10.14 Mojave, Carbonite needs to be granted access to Apple’s Full Disk Access. For customers running macOS 10.15 Catalina, Carbonite also needs to be updated to a compatible version. For more information on how to complete these steps, please review the applicable articles below.

Backup Overdue for Carbonite Safe Backup Pro (Mac 2x)

If your backup is not progressing normally, reboot your computer. Rebooting often resolves minor issues and allows Carbonite to connect to our servers. When the computer powers back on, allow all startup processes to complete before attempting to open and check Carbonite. If your backup doesn't resume after rebooting the computer, you can uninstall and reinstall Carbonite to refresh its connection to our servers. Once complete, you can check your backup status.
