To continue backing up and restoring files on macOS 10.15 or greater, Carbonite needs to be updated to the latest version of Carbonite and granted access to Apple's Full Disk Access. For more information on how to complete these steps, please review the applicable article below.

We have two versions of our software avaialble on Mac OS X. Each are regularly updated to ensure that they provide the best experience for you and addresses any potential issues that may arise in previous releases.

Not running the latest version? You can update to the latest version.
Reinstalling Carbonite can help with a number of problems and is one of the quickest ways to reconnect to our servers or troubleshoot any issue you may see with Carbonite.
If you have gotten a new computer to replace an old one, you can easily transfer your Carbonite subscription to a new computer. You can also restore your backed up files to the new computer after transferring Carbonite. For details, please view the Restore section.
