Carbonite lets you add files to and remove files from your backup at any time during your subscription.

What's backed up?
Carbonite will automatically back up any selected files to the cloud. During the installation process, you can choose to have Carbonite select the most common file types for you or manually make your own selections.

Backing up files
Backing up files is simple and easy: just find them within the Carbonite user interface and select them for backup.

Removing files
You may find some files or folders in your Carbonite backup that you don't want or need backed up. Removing a file from your backup is also easy to do.

Removing files from my backup
If you delete a file from your computer and the file is backed up with Carbonite, Carbonite will also remove the file from your backup within 30 days.
