Enrolling in Automatic Renewal
Enrolling in automatic renewal allows Carbonite to automatically renew your subscription on the Subscription End Date with the card on file.
- You will not need to manually sign in and renew your subscription manually before it expires to keep your files protected.
- If the card on file fails to renew, you will have up to 60 days after expiration to renew your account. After this time, Carbonite will permanently remove your backed up data and Carbonite will no longer function on your computers.
For more information, see Enrolling in Automatic Renewal for Carbonite Safe Backup Pro.
Canceling (or Deactivating) Automatic Renewal
Canceling/Deactivating automatic renewal will stop Carbonite from automatically renewing your subscription.
- You will need to sign in and renew your subscription manually before it expires to keep your files protected.
- After 30 days of expiration, Carbonite will permanently remove your backed up data and Carbonite will no longer function on your computers.
