Solution:
Carbonite Safe Server Backup (CSSB) routinely checks for renewals and changes to your subscription. If your subscription has recently expired, you may see the subscription expired banner in CSSB for up to 24 hours after completing your renewal. If needed, you can download and import a new cloud certificate to manually update the subscription information within CSSB and clear the banner. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account dashboard at https://account.carbonite.com/.
- Renew your subscription if your subscription is not current.
- Navigate to the Backup Dashboard and scroll down to the Servers tab.
- Select your operating system from the drop-down menu.
- Click Download backup certificate on the Servers tab to download a new cloud certificate.
- In CSSB, click Advanced in the upper right corner.
- Click Import Cloud Certificate and select the newly downloaded cloud certificate (named cloud.opentext or cloud.carbonite depending on your operating system)
Once the new cloud certificate has been imported, the banner will clear and the subscription information will be updated.
Please refer to the following Knowledge Base article for more detailed information on Importing the Cloud Certificate.
