Uninstalling Webroot Antivirus

Summary:

You can remove Carbonite from your computer by uninstalling it. If you uninstall Webroot, your computer will no longer be protected with malware or virus scans.

Solution:

This solution is for Mac OS X 10.7 and higher.

  1. Open Webroot SecureAnywhere.
  2. In the top left corner of the screen, click Webroot SecureAnywhere.
  3. Select About SecureAnywhere.

  4. In the pop-up, click Uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere.

  5. In the pop-up, click Yes to uninstall.

Note: If the Webroot SecureAnywhere icon is pinned to the dock, drag it to the trash.
