Solution:
This means that the contents of a restored file are identical to the contents of the backed up file prior to compression. Most picture, music, and video files already have some form of compression. In this case, Carbonite attempts to further compress these files via zlib. We do not alter the native compression of these files, but because they are being compressed a second time, the files sizes of picture, music, and video files are typically lower than document files. Carbonite will always restore your files exactly the way they were on your computer.
