Determining Restore Completion

Select your version of Carbonite for Mac (you can use these instructions to determine which version you have).

How to View Your Restore Progress in Version 1.x
If you have Carbonite version 1.x, you can check the progress of your restore through the Carbonite Preference pane.
Click the Apple symbol in the menu bar and select System Preferences.
Within the System Preferences window, click on the Carbonite icon.
The Carbonite Preference pane will display the progress of your restore.
Note: Your backupA set of copies of your files on our servers. status will be displayed in the Carbonite Preference pane if a restore isn't in progress.
A pop-up notification from Carbonite will be displayed when the restore is complete. You can now access and use your files. Please be sure to check our Carbonite Post-Restore Checklist to ensure that you have all of your data and that your backup resumes.
How to View Your Restore Progress in Version 2.x
If you have Carbonite version 2.x, you can check the progress of your restore through the Carbonite User Interface.
Click the Carbonite icon in the menu bar and select Open Carbonite.
Within the Carbonite User Interface, click Restore Files under the MAIN section.
The Restore Files tab will let you restore all of your files to your computer and view the progress of any restore.
A pop-up notification will display the number of restored files when the restore is complete.
