You are unable to register your phone number for two factor authentication and receive the error message "Phone Number is Temporarily Prevented from Being Registered".

Cause:
There were too many unsuccessful attempts, or your number has been flagged as suspicious.
If you enter the wrong security code 5 or more times in an hour, you will be locked out of your account for one hour. You will have to wait to try again.
Solution:
Attempt to set up two factor authentication again after a few days.
Additional Information:
As a workaround, you can set up two factor authentication with another number.
