List of Windows Events Created by Carbonite Safe Server Backup

Carbonite Safe Server Backup logs an event in the Windows Application Event logs after every backup, upload, download, and restore operation.

These events can be used as another way to track and monitor the status of your backups.

All events will be from source "CSSB" and will be logged under Event ID 500, 501, or 503 in the Windows Application Event logs on all versions of Windows.

• Event 500: This event is logged when an operation is successful.
• Event 501: This event is logged when an operation has failed. In most cases, the reason for failure is included. Please note that event 501 is the result of a failure, not the cause.
• Event 503: This event is logged when CSSB attempts to send an email notification after an operation completes. The event will note if the email sending was a success or a failure.
