Removing Your Two Factor Authentication Number from Your Carbonite Safe Account

You can remove an old phone number from your Carbonite Safe account that was used for two factor authentication.

Solution:

  1. Sign into your account at https://account.carbonite.com.
  2. Click Personal Information.
  3. Within the 2-Factor Authentication section, click Update.
    Click Update
  4. From here, select Turn OFF 2-factor authentication (not recommended) and click Save.

You will receive an alert that you successfully removed 2-factor authentication.
