Account Ownership for Carbonite Safe

Summary:

The credit card holder on the Carbonite account (Billing Owner for Safe Pro plans) is the account owner. If there is no credit card on file, then the owner is the person whose email address is associated with the account and who can successfully answer the security questions.

Note: Carbonite Safe Backup Pro users are not account owners.

If you can access the Carbonite account via the website or can validate personal information during a support interaction, you are deemed as the account owner or authorized user.

Solution:

Account owners can access and restore all data on any computer associated with an account, add or delete (Safe Pro) computers on an account, and change any properties or owner-controlled data associated with any computer.
