Edit an existing policy
Use this procedure to edit an existing partner policy.
If a company administrator modifies a setting at the company-level policy, changes that you make to the partner-level policy for that setting will not be pushed down and override the company administrator's change. If you want to prevent the company administrator from overriding the partner policy settings, you must hide those settings from the company administrator by making sure the eye icon has a slash through it. See Policy settings for details on each of the individual policy settings.
- Go to the Partner page and click the Policies tab.
- On the Policies tab, locate in the table the policy you want to edit. See View available policies for details on searching the table.
- Once you have located the policy you want to edit, click on the policy's name.

On the Edit policy details page, modify any of the following policy settings:

If you have changed the policy name to a unique name, you can click Save as or Save policy. If you have not changed the policy name, Save as will create a new policy by appending a number to the existing policy name, and Save policy replaces the existing policy reusing the existing policy name.
You cannot change the policy name to a name that already exists.
- Click Done to return to the Policies tab, or click Continue editing to remain on the Edit policy details page.
