How to Determine if Carbonite is Installed

- Open the Windows start menu.
- Windows 8.1: Right-click on the Start icon and select Programs and Features.
- Windows 8: Hover the mouse in the bottom left corner until a thumbnail appears of the start screen. Right-click on the thumbnail and select Programs and Features.
- Scroll down the list of programs and look for Carbonite.
If Carbonite is listed, Carbonite is installed on your computer.

Next Steps:
If Carbonite is not installed, you can reinstall Carbonite (Safe | Pro) to resume your backup.
If Carbonite is installed, you can open Carbonite from the start menu and select additional files for backup, remove files from the backup, or setup a backup schedule.
